Very clean, friendly staff, the owner served a delicious dinner for us (5) at about eight pm and after a day of traveling, it was fantastic. Also gave us some very helpful travel advice. A very comfortable, friendly place to stay.

Racing in the Trans Germany found this hotel to be a welcome respite from the rigours of the race, stunning views, traditional style, tranquil setting. Require a car as about 5 k from town and up a steep hill.

The location and the scenery were superb. The breakfasts were fine. The rooms were reasonably clean
The hotel badly needs updating. The beds and lighting are new but some of the other furniture dates from the 1950s or 1960s. It is a very noisy hotel and could even hear other people's beds creaking in the night. The corridors were very boomey and sounded like a prison cell block. The evening meals were poor (we found one of our desserts in the local Spar supermarket for 1.50 euros. Worst of all, the owner chain smokes and allows people to smoke in the bar area. The smell has permeated the whole building including the rooms and all of our clothes smelt of smoke by the time we departed.

The owners were very kind and helpful. Breakfast is very nice-really good selection of high quality meat. Plus vegetables. Great view from the terrace.

Fantastic breakfast, good food and a great owner/manager who took good care of us. We were alos provided with a secure storage area for our mountain bikes and were able to leave our bike bags there for a week
